Death of Mrs. Byrne.
The death of Mrs. Ann Byrne, which took place at St. John of God's Hospital, Goulburn on June 10th (

The deceased lady was born at Newbury (then the property of the late Captain Nicholson), Sutton Forest, 80 years ago, and was a daughter of the late Mr. John and Mrs. Ann Bunt, but was better known as Horam. The late Mr. John Horam adopted her from her infancy, and at the death of Mrs. Horam she came in for a considerable amount of property, including the Royal Hotel, Sutton Forest, which she held until a few years ago.
She was married to the late Mr. William Byrne, the wedding taking place at All Saints' Church, Sutton Forest, 62 years ago, and all her children were christened in the same church.
A family of seven sons and one daughter survive, besides numerous grand-children and great-grandchildren. The sons are: Jack (Tweed River), Will (Braidwood), Theo. (Camden), Fred., Charlie and Percy (Tallong), and Tom (Sydney), and the daughter (Mrs. Bonnett, Robertson).
The remains were interred at Goulburn, the funeral being private, only the family being present
and the cause of her death was recorded as Pneumonia and Varicose ulcers of both legs.
She was buried on 12 Jun 1925 at the Old Church of England Cemetery (St Saviour's) in Goulburn, New South Wales.

OBITUARY. MR. WILLIAM BYRNE
The death of Mr. William Byrne, late of "Cliffdale," Tallong, took place in the Goulburn Hospital on Saturday morning, May 7th. He had been in fairly good health until a few weeks ago, when by some means he contracted blood poisoning in his right arm. He was placed in a private hospital in Goulburn, and was soon apparently restored to his usual health. He returned to "Cliffdale," and seemed quite well, going about as usual, always being a very active man, but just a week prior to his death a relapse set in and he was taken to Goulburn Hospital, where he gradually sank and passed away. Although he was a good age his death came as a shock to many members of the family, who were all quickly called to Goulburn.
Deceased was born at Sutton Forest in September, 1841, his birthplace being on that property now known as "Summerlees".
He leaves a widow, seven sons, and one daughter. The sons are J. R., Tweed River, W. B. A., Braidwood, T. H., Menangle, F. C., C. F., P. P., Cliffdale, and T. A., Bullangalong; and the daughter is Mrs. J. T. Bonnett, Robertson.
Messrs. J. H. Byrne, Nithsdale, and N. Byrne, Fairfield, are brothers
and the cause of his death was recorded as Syncope and Senile Heart.
He was buried on 7 May 1921 at the Old Church of England Cemetery (St Saviour's) in Goulburn, New South Wales.
