Alfred was had a contract to lay the rock for the train line down the main street of Renmark. The attached photo is around August 1927 and that it shows Alfred on his TT Model Ford truck laying rock that he had legally acquired from the land of a Mrs Harris just opposite Springcart Gully Road where Alfred was living, and that he was laying the rock in preparation for a train line, and this photo shows Flaherty's Store and the Motor Cycle Shop in the background in Aug 1927.
