Mr. George Charles Davis, of Upper Barron, after a short illness, passed away at the Atherton Hospital on Saturday last, aged 73 years. The late Mr. Davis resided in the Upper Barron district for a number of years. He is survived by a widow and four daughters (Annie, Lily, Alice and Enid) and three sons (Walter, Leslie and Michael). The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon from the
Atherton Methodist Church. Rev. A. S. J. Stewart conducted the services at the church and the graveside.
