Percy Thomas Hewitt Watman died on 25 May 1915 at sea from head wounds received on Gallipoli. His name is recorded on a memorial plaque in the Warwick (Qld) Town Hall and in the Lone Pine Cemetery in Turkey. It is noted that his death was exactly one month after the first landing on Gallipoli.
