He was buried at St Matthew's Anglican Cemetery (Grave location recorded as: Far Back section, row 36 plot 20) in Windsor, New South Wales, and the inscription reads: "Far from the land where first he drew breath He bowed obedient to all conquering death. At Church he was and made his daughters brides On the next day it was the will of God he died."
