Death of Mrs. Charlotte Cannon
After having been in indifferent health for some months, Mrs Charlotte Sarah Ann Cannon died in a private hospital yesterday.
The late Mrs Cannon was horn in Goulbourn 89 years ago, and was, before her marriage 69 years ago, Miss Charlotte Taylor. She is the last of a well known family of the early days of Goulbourn.
Predeceased by her husband and son Mr H. J. Cannon, she is survived bv her sons. Mr H. R. B. Cannon (Sydney). Miss L. Cannon (Sydney), Mr P. T. Cannon (lndooroopiliy). Mrs C. Bremner (lndooroopiliy). Mr L. L. Cannon (New Zealand), Mr S. S. Cannon (lndooroopiliy) and Mr K. P. Cannon, Yeronga.

At an early hour yesterday morning, there passed away at Nurse Bussell's private hospital, Rainbow Bay, Coolangatta.
Mrs. Charlotte Cannon, widow of the late Mr. Charles Cannon. With her husband, who predeceased her by three years, the deceased lady had been a resident of Tweed Heads for over 20 years, having come with her husband from the Lismore district.
Both were natives of the Hunter River district, Mrs. Cannon having been born at Singleton 78 years ago.
Since her husband 's death she has divided her time between Brisbane and Tweed Heads, living alternately with her son Cecil, (Clayfield) and her daughter Mrs. Ada. Werner (Tweed Heads). For the past three months her health had not been good and she had been in hospital.
A grown-up family of five sons and one daughter are left to mourn their loss. The sons are Messrs. Augustus (Mooball) , Robert (Gatton), Fred (Toowoomba), Gordon (Tweed Heads), Cecil (Clayfield).
The funeral took place at Tweed Heads yesterday afternoon, the cortege moving from the Tweed Heads Presbyterian Church. In the absence of Rev. S Russell-Scott, Rev. G. E. Holland (Methodist Minister at Tweed Heads and Coolangatta officiated at the graveside.
