Charles was reportedly owned two farms in the Hawkesbury district, and it was reported that he owned 4 pigs and 24 goats, as well as having 15 acres of wheat and another 15 of maize in 1795.
Charles Cross died on 13 Oct 1835 in Wilberforce, New South Wales, at the age of 86 at the recorded age of 86 years.
He was buried on 14 Oct 1835 at St John's Church Graveyard in Windsor, New South Wales.
